PUBLIC PARTICIPATION NOTICE

Proposed Amendments to the FFY 2018 to 2022 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

In accordance with the formal public participation program tied to the Pioneer Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) in coordination with Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) is holding a (21) day public review for the Proposed Amendments to the FFY 2018  to 2022 TIP .  This document will be available for comment starting on October 26, 2017 and ending on November 17, 2017.  Please visit http://www.pvpc.org/publicreview for additional information.

This process will also be used as the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority’s (PVTA) public participation process. The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority, the FTA Section 5307(c) applicant, has consulted with the Pioneer Valley  Metropolitan Planning Organization and concurs that the public involvement process adopted by the Pioneer Valley MPO for development of the TIP satisfies the public hearing requirements that pertain to the development of the Program of Projects (POP) for the regular Section 5307, Urbanized Area Formula Program, grant applications including the provisions for public notice and the time established for public review and comment.

Enmiendas propuestas al FFY 2018 a 2022 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

De acuerdo con el programa formal de participación pública vinculado a Pioneer Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) en coordinación con Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) está llevando a cabo una revisión pública de (21) días para el propuesto Enmiendas al FFY 2018 a 2022 TIP. Este documento estará disponible para comentarios a partir del 26 de octubre de 2017 y hasta el 17 de noviembre de 2017. Visite http://www.pvpc.org/publicreview para obtener información adicional.

Este proceso también se utilizará como el proceso de participación pública de Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA). Pioneer Valley Transit Authority, el solicitante de la Sección 5307 (c) del FTA, ha consultado con la Organización de Planificación Metropolitana de Pioneer Valley y coincide en que el proceso de participación pública adoptado por Pioneer Valley MPO para el desarrollo del TIP satisface los requisitos de audiencia pública que pertenecen a el desarrollo del Programa de Proyectos (POP) para la Sección 5307 regular, Programa de Fórmula de Área Urbanizada, solicitudes de subvenciones que incluyen las disposiciones para el aviso público y el tiempo establecido para revisión pública y comentarios.
